I have been running my sports massage and sports injury clinic for 7 years. Although I had been interested in kinesiology for a number of years I decided to become a practitioner 5 years ago when my son who is lactose intolerant was misdiagnosed over a 12 month period despite us knowing something was wrong. Through kinesiology, within minutes of being tested we had the correct answer. It was then I decided I wanted to be able to help not only my own family but many other people in such a wonderfully positive way.
I have always been a keen sportswoman and even though I am no longer involved in competitive sport I still value highly the benefits of exercising regularly, feeling healthy and being fit. I can usualy be found on the treadmill or in the aerobics studio at my local gym as many times a week as time allows!
I find the combination of my university sports degree, my sports massage qualifications and my diploma in kinesiology provides a truly holistic approach to enabling people to improve their general well being.
I am a member of the Association of Systematic Kinesiology as well as the Complementary Therapists Association.
